DRAFT EDIT PUBLISH  [formerly known as Stonecreek Editing Services]  has been proudly serving authors for over seven years, providing comprehensive support at every stage of the writing journey. From helping writers craft their first draft, to polishing manuscripts through professional developmental editing, to guiding authors through the publishing process, our goal is to make the path from idea to published book clear, achievable, and rewarding. We combine expert editorial insight, practical resources, and personalized coaching to empower writers to complete their work and share their stories with the world.

Draft, Edit, Publish was founded by Lyndsay Stanley, an award-winning developmental editor and author coach with a passion for helping writers bring their stories to life. Drawing on years of experience working with first-time novelists, Lyndsay combines expert editorial guidance with practical coaching to ensure every manuscript reaches its full potential. Her mission is to make the journey from idea to published book clear, achievable, and rewarding for authors at every stage of their writing career.

Over the years, Lyndsay has developed a comprehensive ecosystem of services for writers, designed to meet them wherever they are in their journey:

  • Weathered & Well Press – A curated bookshop and publishing imprint where authors can publish and showcase their work.

  • Author Resources – A growing library of worksheets, mini eBooks, and guides covering writing, self-editing, and book promotion.

  • Writing Coaching & Courses – Personalized coaching and structured courses designed to help writers finish their novels and strengthen their craft.

  • Development & Design Support – Professional developmental editing services, from manuscript evaluation to story restructuring, ensuring authors produce polished, publication-ready work.

Each branch of this ecosystem is designed to support writers at every stage, from first draft to finished, published book. Whether it’s learning the craft, receiving detailed editorial feedback, or navigating the self-publishing process, Lyndsay’s approach is practical, encouraging, and results-focused.
